The weekly word is greet. The word came from a book called “Quiet” by Susan Cain. Hope you enjoy this weekly excerpt. Stay lovely my friends.

In order to meet someone, you must greet someone. Do you have the courage to say hello? Do you have what it takes to introduce yourself to a person you do not know? Some days it is not others who we are afraid to greet, but each day we hide from ourselves, ever so discreet. Changing and turning, time is slipping away. You must greet yourself each morning, and never be afraid of what you will say. Fears will be uncovered and victories may not be known, but if you do not confront yourself, both will remain unknown. Into the abyss your daily greet shall fade away. [perfectpullquote align=”right” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]Do not ever doubt yourself or be afraid[/perfectpullquote]
I have started doing things tomorrow so I can say “hey I did it yesterday.” The little changes that we make, do not dwell on your mistakes. Do not ever doubt yourself, you have what it takes. Greeting a stranger, oh how it has its perks. The facts that they hold and the mystery that lurks.[perfectpullquote align=”left” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=””]Everyone has something to say[/perfectpullquote]
What will they teach you, and what will you teach them? The exchange of information. Everything starts from a stem. Grow from the ground up, as you should never start from the top. Greet yourself each morning, and the growing will never stop.
